Pilgrimage to Slane

A good crowd turned out for the pilgrimage to the Hill of Slane. With the rendez-vous in town, the pilgrims then climbed the steep ascent to the monastic ruins while praying the 15 decades of the Rosary. Mass was celebrated in the old church ruins where Mass was once daily celebrated. Pilgrims took this opportunity not only to give honour to Our Lady, but also to remember the heroic deeds of our patron and ask his intercession once again in these troubled times.
Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!
St Patrick, pray for us!
