Knock Pilgrimage 2017

A good crowd of over 100 people gathered together at Knock to pay homage to Our Lady 138 years after Her apparition to the townsfolk there. Although the shrine authorities themselves refused to welcome us, an elderly gentleman kindly offered us the use of his driveway for the celebration of the Mass.

The events began with some scattered showers which soon cleared up for the rest of the Mass and procession afterwards. The faithful prayed the 15 decades of the Rosary and sang some hymns processing down the main street of the town. Before the drive home, everybody spent some time in prayer at the site of Our Lady's apparition begging for Her intercession during these troubled times.

Vita, Dulcedo, et Spes Nostra Salve!
