Baking for a Purpose

On Sunday 30th October, Comhaltas Chríost Rí marked the feast of Christ the King around the country by reciting a prayer together in each chapel in honour of Christ the King and by participating in their parish choirs or serving Mass. They also had a successful bake sale following Mass at each chapel to raise funds for our apostolate, raising an impressive sum of €1139.46 in total. Many thanks to all the parishioners that have so generously contributed to our apostolate and thereby "cashing in the graces" to quote one priest. This money will be primarily used to fund the printing of leaflets used by the young adults when going out into the streets to talk to people about the faith. Viva Cristo Rey!
