  • 1st : First Sunday of Lent: Ashes will be distributed after both Masses. Parish Tea and Used Books Sale after both Masses Adult Catechism will follow Masses on the other Sundays
  • 5th : First Thursday: All Day Adoration from 11am to 6pm
  • 6th : Frist Friday: 11am Mass & 6:30pm Mass and Benediction
  • 7th : First Saturday: 11am Mass followed by First Saturday devotions. Confessions before and during Mass.
  • 8th: Eucharistic Crusade Meeting after the 11am Mass
  • 17th: Saint Patrick, Patron of Ireland, Holy Day of obligation
  • 9am Low Mass, 11am High Mass
  • 19th: Saint Joseph: 11am &6:30pm Masses
  • 25th :Annunciation: 11am & 6:30pm Masses
  • Way of the Cross: every Friday of Lent at 5:50pm
  • Abstinence: Abstinence is obligatory on all Fridays of Lent
  • Easter Duty: The faithful are able, anytime between the First Sunday of Lent and Trinity Sunday, to fulfill the grave obligation of receiving the Holy Eucharist worthily.


  • First Communions: A 20 minute First Communion Catechism class will be given after 11am Mass on Sundays March 1, 15, 22 & 29. The class is open to evey child between ages 6 and 10 even if they will not receive First Communion this year, or if they have already done so. One parent must attend class with them.
  • Youth Group: There will be a formation weekend in Athlone from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd. All youth 18 – 30 years old are welcome. To sign up, speak to any of the youth group members or email the group at [email protected]
